the essence

Another work day over. I got to leave 15 minutes early...every minute helps. My job is nice but I'm so glad when I get to leave & go home. Tonight we need to pack for our trip to Kentucky. One thing I don't like about packing is that it seems that even if you make a list you forget something. Why is that? The thing about living in Florida is that I don't own very many warm clothes. This will especially be a problem when we go to New York next month. Megan is letting me borrow her leather jacket though...very chic. :)

Ray called a few minutes ago. He's coming home & after we eat leftovers we're going to Wal-mart. He needs to buy some bullets for his rifle so he can shoot while we're in Kentucky. I'll probably browse the snack food & look for stuff to bring on our trip. Our friend Matt is coming with us & I want to make sure I pack enough for him too (he's a 19 year old guy after all-they usually seem to eat a bunch, especially if it's free).

Gilmore Girls is on tonight but I don't know if it's a new one. I hope that it is but I kind of doubt it. I love that show. One of my faves.

Well, I should probably go & get things ready for dinner (& change out of my pajamas!).
