the essence

Last night I got our pictures from New York back!!! :) Some of them turned out pretty nice & of course you always have to have a blurry few in the bunch.

I've been SO busy. I'm always busy, but let me say, I've been home for over a week & still haven't unpacked. There's luggage in our bedroom, family room, but tonight will be our third time since getting home that we've left & stayed somewhere else. The holidays have pretty much kept us away from our home, but it's okay because then I get to see our families. Tonight we're going to the New Year's Eve party my parents are having. I'm excited about that. I used to do such fun things on New Year's Eve with our youth group, we always had the most awesome lock-ins. But, then we got older & stopped having them & last year I ended up here in Tampa with Ray doing pretty much nothing. It was kind of a bummer so I'm definitely looking forward to tonight.

This past Sunday night after chapel a bunch of us young people went over to a families house from church for the Buc's football game. I know nothing about football. My only reason to watch the Superbowl is for the commercials & food at the party. Which was a nice thing about this past football game, there was some good food there. There were also some of my friends so I talked with them too. But some of them really get into the football thing. I think Tampa was playing Chicago or something. I think I should've cheered for the other team just to egg the Tampa fans on. :)

I made a phone appointment with a USF advisor a few minutes ago. It's for 8:30 a.m. Friday morning. I'm so glad I can do this over the phone. I'm not sure how to work it all out though,b ecause some of the classes I MUST ahve I can't get yet because USF doesn't have my transcripts from this past semester. So, I called HCC but they're closed for the holidays & won't open up until Friday, the last working day before calsses start at USF. This is kind of stressful but I know it'll all work out. It always does. :)
