the essence

I bought "About a Boy " yesterday! :) I had gift certificates from Christmas still so it didn't cost me anything. :) We watched it last night but Ray only saw the beginning & the end (that's what happens when you fall asleep).

This morning I got up & did a load of laundry (we're in DESPERATE need of clean clothes) & Linda Gentile picked me up & took me out to breakfast. It was really nice & the food was good too. Then we went to a planning meeting for an inter-assembly ladies missionary meeting in March. One of the speakers will be Marge (Saint) Van Der Puy. She was the wife of Nate Saint, one of the five martyred missionaries in Ecuador back in 1955 (Jim Elliot was another one of the martyrs). I've heard she's really good & I'm looking forward to hearing her speak. (I'd recommend reading the article linked above, it's pretty interesting).

I got home around 1:15 & didn't do too much but around 2:30 I fell asleep...until around 5:30. We've just been laying around the house watching tv & stuff. Ray's still working on property stuff & I worked on my scrap book a little. :)

And, today is our 8 month wedding anniversary!!! :):):)
