the essence

We started our night at B&N & ended in the labor & delivery wing of the hospital.

And there was a stop at McDonald's in between.

We got to the hospital around 10:45. This hospital was strange, they only allowed three visitors into the room at a time. Of course the father was in there constantly & the rest of just took turns.

Ray & I went in shortly before 11:00. His aunt, Kim, was very close to delivery. You could tell she was in pain too, it kind of helped to discourage my desire for kids anytime soon. :) It was neat though, seeing her & then we went back to the room less than an hour later & there was a tiny baby boy there too (can you believe it, we for got to ask what his name is!!!). He was pretty cute. He was a little one too (& fussy), he weighed less than 7 lbs.

Well, its now much later than I'd planned on going to bed, but it was fun to enjoy that experience tonight. I can't believe there's another baby in the family!
