the essence

Just sitting here studying again.

I had my first final exam last night. :p I think it went well & I have an interview today in the marketing department at St. Pete campus.

I also got a call from Ruth yesterday & she told me that they're filming "Trading Spaces" in the townhouse right next door to her!

Oh cool! I just checked the "Trading Spaces" website & they're doing special shows in Orlando at the beginning of next year! They're also having a casting call at the home depot at millenia mall this Saturday. I think that would be fun.


Even though I still have a lot of studying to do, I think we're getting our Christmas tree tonight. I'm used to putting up the tree the day after Thanksgiving, but now that I'm married we always get a real tree. Which I like, but now we have to get it later. I was hoping for last week but we just got too busy.

At least now I only have to wait a couple of days so I can decorate without worrying about needing to study instead. :)

I also asked Ray out on a date for this Thursday night (so forward!). We still have gift certificates so we're going out to dinner. :) AND, we still haven't watched "Pirates" since we bought it so maybe we can watch that too. And, I doubt our tree will be decorated by then so maybe we can go ahead with that.

Ruth & I are driving over to Orlando Friday morning in order to make Christmas cookies with mom. We're both really looking forward to it but we wish we could stay over Thursday night too. But, she's a newly wed & couldn't bear to ask her husband if she could spend the night too (it's her birthday weekend & he really wants to be with her). Because it's her birthday they might be going to Orlando for the weekend & if that's the case I'm going to spend the night over there with my family on Friday night (I'm really hoping this happens! :)

Saturday at 2:00, I think Ray & I are going to Busch Gardens. One of the young guys at church who works there has a bunch of tickets. So, I think we're doing a couples thing but he invited a bunch of us to go out to Busch Gardens. It shouild be fun, we won't have to be there for too long or spend money on food, & it's free! (I LOVE free)

Oh yes, Jaime & Gimel have another baby boy! His name is Dalef.
