the essence

My stats exam is in less than two hours. I'm slightly nervous but I think it'll be okay.

Last night we went to get our Christmas tree. Every year Ray's family all goes out together & picks out their trees. We had a smaller group last night but it took us about an hour. I also picked up some greenery from the scrap pile to decorate with. :)

And our tree is, get this, slightly over 8 feet tall (at the price of a 6'-7')! I know for some people that's not big, but it's the biggest tree I've ever had. I think Ray wanted to take advantage of our 9 foot ceilings this year (it's amazing the difference one foot can make).

When we one day have our "big" house with very high ceilings Ray would like to have several trees throughout the house. He's so ambitious. Hoepfully after our date tomorrow night we can get around to decorating the tree. :)
