Our last day here in Kentucky so I'm looking up bed & breakfasts in Asheville right now. We just got back from Madison, IN. We were going to visit the antique store Megan told us about but the directions we got turned out to be wrong & we were ready to go home (plus it was starting to rain!). They were having some sort of craft festival going on so Ray & I walked the booths sipping our Pepsi & eating cotton candy. :)
Ray has a couple of apples & he's making my grandmother teach him how to can them. They just got all of the stuff from up in the attic - she hasn't canned in about 4-5 years, but he's bound & determines to can these things.
Brett is coming again tonight (yea!) & we plan on having our campfire & making s'mores. :)
It sure is windy & getting overcast out. You know me - its coffee weather! I brought my espresso maker with me this time (I am NOT addicted) & I've been making Brett & I caramel macchiattos & regular coffee with it as well (I love the versatility of the machine).
My grandfather drinks more coffee than anyone I've ever met & he was very intrigued by my espresso maker. He watched me make the coffee step by step until he decided my way was too much work for a cup of coffee. :)
