the essence

We leave for our trip very shortly!

We should have left by now but Ray is delayed at work.

This morning I wrapped up everything I had at work before anyone else was in so I went to Starbucks to get a coffee. Today Busch Gardens opened their new roller coaster, Sheikra, so they bought something like the first $500 worth of coffee for people who went to that Starbucks! What a surprise! I had a gift card I was going to use anyway but this was even better (it meant an upgrade from what I'd planned on buying). :)

I love when I have time like that to sit outside drinking coffee & reading. This particular Starbucks is located in a business district so it's buzzing with people in the morning hours. It's so nice to sit in the sun, watching everybody. I just love it.

I ran into Geannie while I was there too so we made plans to meet later for lunch.

Now I'm just ready to go. Everything is packed, I'm bummed that we don't have a camera though. And, I received an anniversary card today with money in it from Mom for us to have a nice dinner at the Biltmore. :) Thank you SO much! I'm really looking forward to this trip. :)

I will probably be without any access to the Internet for a few days but I'll update when I get the chance!
