the essence

I'm so excited! The countdown to the wedding is almost over, just three days left! I had my final dress fitting Monday night (it looks great!) & I got to see Ashley while I was getting fitted (she & Dave had just arrived from Georgia).

Tonight the guys are "gaming" at the clubhouse here in my complex so I think Ashley & maybe Rachel are going to come over for a girls night, maybe watch a movie, paint nails, & I need to pack!

Tomorrow I'm going to work for two hours, driving to the Gentiles to pick up Ashley, & then we're driving over to Orlando!

I need to have Mom highlight my hair in the afternoon (I hope you're feeling up to it, Mom!) & at 8:00 all the girls are heading over to Universal CityWalk for dinner & dancing at Margaritaville.

Friday, the plan is to sleep in & then Heather is taking the bridesmaids for manicures at 4:30. Rehearsal at 6:30, & then we have an entire Italian restaurant to ourselves for dinner at 8:00. (so far there are 76 people expected at the rehearsal dinner!)

And, the big day is Saturday, pictures starting at 9:30, wedding at noon.

I can't wait! Time with the girls, time with the family, time off from work, time to semi-relax. Plus, if you can't tell, I love weddings! Especially when its one of my close friends getting married. I've known Heather since I was four & I love that we're still close. I love that I'm still friends with so many of the people who I've known since I was four, that's not a usual thing to have happen. Anyway, just having such a good friend get married makes it that much more special.

So much to do so little time. Bible study is tonight, Ray's leading the singing, & I need to leave a little early to find more replacements for stuff I lost with my purse. Yesterday I picked up lip gloss, rice paper, & a new cute & very inexpensive wallet (yea!). This morning I got my new drivers license (I didn't know they were going to take my picture again - I would have put on make-up if I'd known!). I've been desperately trying to find sunglasses to no avail. So, that's the big one on my list for tonight. Also, a key chain, it's driving me crazy keeping my keys in a purse pocket, I'm paranoid I'll lose them. Oh, & I need to pack!

Better get moving. I think I'm going to need to do a load of laundry at your place Mom (I can't wait to have our house & no longer have to find quarters [& time!] to go to the laundry mat!).
