I'm quite impressed with myself. I'm at junk food haven here & I'm doing a rather good job ay avoiding too much sugar & eating fruits & veggies (right now I'm munching on an apple).
I'm trying to get some work done on my scrapbook while I'm here & I think I'm going to "go to town" & print some photos out at Walmart.
Ray has taken to wearing a John Deere cap up here. I will admit to you (but not him) that it bothers me a bit. I'm not quite sure why, but it looks really silly on him. I think part of the reason is because he isn't even wearing it snug on his head, its raised up a few inches & with his unshaven look makes him look hillbillyish. I'm not saying much about it because I figure its just a phase that will last while we're up here & we leave to go home on Sunday so I can stand it for a few days. :)
I'm still having a great time here, thankfull for me the weather is a tad warmer today. The yard is filled with black walnuts & my grandfather hulled a whole bunch of them for us today. Ray & my grandmother spent this morning canning green beans. One of the jars they used is about 75 years old & originally contained peanut butter! That is the one Ray is planning to display at home with the apples he canned last time we were here (he canned four jars today, three to eat & one to look at).
Tonight my brother is coming to visit & I'm very excited about that. I love getting to visit with him while we're up here.
