the essence

So, we're still in Pennsylvania with plans to leave tomorrow morning. We were supposed to leave this morning but one of the great things about having such a long vacation is the flexibility.

This morning Ruth & I headed to Starbucks where we sat & drank our morning coffee & we also stopped at TJ Maxx, which was in the same plaza. I saw a super cute pair of brown heels there yesterday that I was dying to buy so I used my allotted clothing money for them. Best part is, there's no clothes tax here! I absolutely love these shoes though, I wish I could get the pictures to load to our computer so that I could post some.

Today we had a bit of a movie fest, watching Fever Pitch, Music From Another Room, & we're almost finished with Love Actually. That is one of my all time favorite movies. It is so funny & makes me feel happy. There are so many great sappy scenes in it.

I feel like I'm just continually gaining weight on this vacation. I've been eating completely awful with hardly any working out. Which makes me feel a bit blah. But I'm having a great time.

Tomorrow morning we leave to start our drive down the Skyline Drive & the Blue Ridge Parkway. We plan on ending up in Asheville on Friday, going to the Biltmore, & going to my grandparents' in Kentucky next Monday. It's very possible the next time I post won't be until we get there.
