the essence

I can't believe that Addison is four weeks old today! Its such a short amount of time but it doesn't feel like its been even that long. It's a little sad because I'm sure as she grows it's going to seem to go by so quickly.

Today was a very nice day, aside from the fact that Addison isn't feeling wel - possibly a cold, possibly allergies, but at least no fever! My parents drove over from Orlando this morning & brought the many items I forgot there from our visit ("mom brain!"). It was a good excuse for them to visit, although with the baby here that seems to be reason enough. :)

While they were here my Mom & I were able to hit the sales at Target - & of course get coffee (I love all of the gift certificates I received!). With all of the post-Christmas sales I was able to get quite a few Christmas presents for next year at great deals!

Anyway, I know that's a short update but I want to get some sleep!!!
