I made Addison what I think is a really cute tag blanket, or "taggie," last night. I gave it to her this morning & she loves it! I love the way babies are fascinated by the tags hanging off of their toys. Addison is no exception so I figured she'd enjoy having her own little blanket full of tags to play with. The benefits of making my own are:

1. It's cheaper than buying one

2. It's a creative outlet for me

3. I can make it look the way I want

So, I picked out all cotton fabrics for the outside & a single light layer of batting for the inside. One of the fabrics has a cute striped design filled with pinks, aquas, & black. The other side is a simple pale pink flannel.

For the ribbons I searched through my supply at home. I believe one of the pink ribbons came from a Victoria's Secret box & another came from Sephora. I cute all of the ribbons to be four inches in length & tried to place them rather symmetrically on the blanket. (That goes back to benefit #3, I like some things to be even & symmetrical)

I promise that once we get a camera I'll try to post pictures!
