McDreamy she was not. Maybe Addison wouldn't have cried so much if her neurologist had looked like our favorite tv neurosurgeon.

The doctor was a bit rough, & I found it odd that she found it appropriate to push & pull Addison's legs when Addison was laying on a table with her head inches from the wall. Thankfully, I saw what was happening & was able to get my hand behind Addison's head so that it wouldn't get bruised from hitting the wall over & over.

The good news is that Addison was so upset that she was kicking quite a bit & the doctor said she did not have lower extremity weakness & that for her age she still isn't considered developmentally delayed.

Addison does do a weird thing where she brings her legs into her stomach while bending her upper body down, kind of like she's doing a crunch. She didn't start doing that until after she learned to jump in her doorway jumper & she only does it when she's sitting restrained somewhere & can't get out. Addison doesn't do it lying down, sitting on her own, or anything like that.

I say that because the doctor said that if she did it in any position just at random or only when she's tired or something like that, than it can be indicative of potential seizures (or something to that effect). But, because the movement seems to be triggered by Addison being restrained it's most likely not leading to seizures. Either way the doctor wants us to videotape it & go back in three months.

Thank you to everyone who prayed!
