He was definitely creepy in Secret Window but not so much so that his character, Mort, wasn't likeable. I think one of Johnny Depp's best scenes in that movie is when he's in his house "fighting" with the man out to get him - who really turns out to be just his other personality.
To me, Johnny Depp has many fabulous scenes in Pirates but I really love his entrance into the movie as Captain Jack Sparrow. He totally sets the stage for his character as he silently rides his sinking boat up to the dock. I think it takes a truly talented actor to convey so much to the audience without needing to speak a word. I would definitely have to pick this as my favorite Johnny Depp movie.
