Saturday we had a fun dinner party at our house. Our old friend, Matt, flew in from Arizona for the long weekend - we hadn't seen him in about three years! He's getting married in five weeks so he brought his best friend, Joel, for their last guys weekend. We had close to 20 people over & thankfully I did a potluck so I had a really easy time as far as prep work.

I made a veggie soup & had a rotisserie chicken, Jen made lasagna, Rach did the salad, Megan brought bread & sodas, & Erin made a cute dessert to look like a pumpkin patch but was actually delicious Hummingbird cake! My mom surprised us with expensive black gouda, olive tapenade, & crackers. Yum!
As I pulled out my "World's Best Boss" & I heart Jim" mugs to use for our coffee we realized that everyone at the party loves The Office & many had not yet seen that weeks episode. I had it recorded so we all decided to watch it. That is one fun show to watch with a group of people!

Apparently, the only people who really understood the concept of "this is the funny picture!" were Ray & Audrey.

It was such a great evening, I just love having big groups of people over!
