Car insurance can be so frustrating. Our car was damaged about nine months ago and it still has not been repaired due to insurance problems. The accident was the other drivers fault, even the police report states that fact, but the other driver lied to their insurance company so they won’t cover but ten percent of the repair cost. Of course our insurance will cover the rest but our deductible is large enough that we can’t afford to get the car fixed. Amazingly enough we’ve only been pulled over once in the past nine months for our headlight being out.

I have a difficult time believing how unethical the other insurance company is being in this situation. Rather than believe the police report and myself they believe their client. It makes perfect sense for the company; this gets them out of having to pay damages. It does leave us in a bind though since we can’t afford to get our car fixed.
