I'm sure some think I'm crazy because of my avoidance of chemicals when possible. I noticed I seemed to become even more aware of it once I had Addison. It was because of all of the additives in products that I don't use baby shampoo/lotion/powder/creams/standard suncreens, etc. on her. She has a bar of basic soap (aloe & stuff) & I went with California Baby for her lotion. I use a calendula if she has diaper rash and alternative medicine if she gets sick or is teething.
Like I said, I'm sure some would think I'm crazy but I try not to be too vocal about my "alternative" views. But, it's articles like this that make my different ideas a little more main stream.
If you're interested in finding out the ratings of products you use EWG has a fabulous website that ranks the products by the safety of the ingredients they contain.
