the essence

Last Friday night my mom, Megan, & I went out to spend some time together before the big day. Nothing fancy, just coffee, Target, & going to Megan's new place. She & Matthew are now renting my grandmother HUGE house that's been sitting vacant. (This is a video she took of the place awhile back)




Anyway, the last time Megan had been to the house there were about a hundred boxes around. When we arrived, I don't know if I saw a single box. Furniture was arranged, pictures were hung, even the China cabinet was arranged! Matthew had been hard at work! He's so funny & I will say he's also very tall . We had to laugh at everything hung on the wall - everything was so high (I think Matthew is around 6'4" or something)! Not at the "average" height eye level as recommended. It was so cute, we had to get a picture of it!



He had also arranged some of the kitchen cabinets with tea & his supplements, Everything was so neat!

It was so fun to go to Megan's new place when she was right on the verge of getting married & moving in. There was that buzz of excitement of everything being new. It really brought back memories for me from six years ago!
