Part Two of our Beach Day last Friday

Before I forget, if you want to see more pictures from our adventure you can go here.

Tarpon Springs has the "world's finest sponges" (or so they say) & the Sponge Docks are a great little area to walk around. It's a Greek community so the place is loaded with shops, restaurants (it smells SO good walking around!) & of course the ships dock right along the walkway.

Some of the sponges for sale

A very cool old ship docked in the water

The wind was still very strong here & blew Addison's stroller a few feet away! (check out that wild hair!)

This dress was right outside of the shop & Ray of all people LOVED it (for me of course, not himself)! So, we saw, we modeled, but Caroline was the lucky girl who ended up taking it home! The dressing room inside this shop was quite peculiar and a bit dodgy. There was a sign on the door stating it WAS NOT a restroom. But upon opening the door there appeared not a dressing room, but a restroom. ???

I also modeled this *lovely* hat - apparently this picture scares Megan, she doesn't think it looks like me

Unfortunately, we were so pressed for time we didn't get to sample any of the Greek food, not even some delicious baklava. We made it home at 3:55 & I taught piano at 4:00 - talk about cutting it close!

We thoroughly wore Addison out but she slept it off on the way home.
