the essence

Yesterday marked eight years since Ray & I met. Eight years! We "communicated" for the first time on Feb. 15 (my parents wedding anniversary) via instant messenger because Jen had given him my screen name. But, we met in person for the first time on March 18th.

We were at a College & Career retreat at Camp Horizon, it was the end of my Spring Break. We each knew the other would be there & I was looking forward to finally meeting him. Nothing really significant happened that day - I wasn't interested in him at first! I think he was interested in me, though. :)
