the essence

I promise beach pictures, but I don't think I'll get them posted until Monday. We did have a great time though!

I played catch up yesterday, rushing around running errands trying to make the deadlines that snuck up on me. I realized Thursday night how stressed I was thinking about them/worrying that I'd forget to do them so I just wrote down what had to be done yseterday & knocked them out!

This included a Starbucks trip to give me the energy to get everything done. When I showed up I was told they were just talking about me. Then, they pulled out Addison's halloween picture & said they'd just found it in a drawer & were gushing over it. I didn't even realize they still had it there.

We had a great night of soccer last night. Of course I didn't play, I sat on the sidelines with the kids chatting with Erin & Jen.

For now, I'm spending some time with my parents today. I'm sure we have a trip to Target in store!

This evening, I'm very excited to go visit with Rachel! I was honored that I was asked to help with planning Erin's upcoming baby shower & I'm so excited to help out! I'm going to bring my "party book" full of ideas. After the planning we're going to enjoy a nice dinner together, just our two families. I can't wait!
