I woke up mothers day morning to this:

Addison downed about half of my moms coffee! I can't say I'm surprised, it's in the genes. She doesn't need it to be sweet either, all that was in the coffee was some cream! For anyone wondering, Addison went down for a nice long nap a short time later. Like I said, it's in the genes. Of course, maybe all of that caffeine is why she was making faces like this:

We stayed in at my parents house the entire day. It was very relaxing & we ate things like skillet cookies, bagel bites, cheeses & crackers, chocolate covered cashews...you know, real healthy stuff!
My grandmother & her husband stopped by after their square dance. My grandmother has square danced for as long as I can remember. The best part about it when we were kids were the amazingly fluffy petticoats she wore under her skirts! The thrill hasn't gone away for my mom & she spent some time entertaining Addison (& the rest of us) with her petticoat dancing.

Do you see Addison hiding her smile back there?

Addison wasn't quite sure about wearing the petticoat herself.

What a lovely day though! Addison & I drove back home to Ray in the evening (he stayed home to spend time with his mom) & he had a nice card waiting for me.
