So sorry to leave you with such a "cheesy" post for so long (oh, that was bad).

Ray & Nathan took their Sunday School kids who memorized Romans 12 out to Anclote Island for a camping trip. They left Thursday afternoon & came back Saturday evening. I decided to take advantage of Ray being away & spend some girl time with my mom.

It was really a multi-purpose trip:

-We were able to visit, just us girls
-My mom needed to get away from Orlando for her health, she's much better in Tampa (if you don't know her/read her blog you have no idea just how ill she is)
-I needed some time to work on my sewing in order to get ready for the craft fair Megan & I are doing this weekend. (You really should come see us!) My mom was able to occupy Addison so I could get some things made!

She drove over Thursday morning & we spent the day at Jen's eating & crafting. We found that great deal on cheese on our way home & Jen came over to indulge with us & watch The Office (hilarious!) & SNL (not as good as the previous week).

Friday we went out in the morning & came home 1.5 hours later to a broken washing machine. And, it couldn't just break, it had to flood my kitchen, laundry room, & master bathroom with water. We tried the spin cycle again & the washing machine won't drain all of the water out & it still leaks from the bottom. Ugh! (Thanksfully, Rach let me come over & do a load of laundry at her house today - what a great excuse to hang out, too!)

The whole washing machine issue took up a good chunk of time, as did my 1.5 hours of piano lessons. We finally relaxed in the evening watching 28 Dresses (free from redbox) & hand sewing some hair clips.

Addison also discovered that she "Loves the Night Life" & my mom played it for her around 100 times while she was here (seriously, the computer kept track of how often it was played). If we tried another song Addison was less than thrilled. (My mom blogged about it here) Here she is dancing with my mom:

Saturday I kept expecting Ray back but all of the clean-up took much longer than expected so he didn't really get home until after 8 at night.

I did have a fantastic mail day on Saturday: I got my free Starbucks gift card (through mypoints), the latest issue of Self, and...my business cards for Style me, baby! I'm so glad they came in time for the craft fair! Plus, they were free, all 250 of them (again, through mypoints); all I had to do was pay around $6 for shipping.

My mom also bought Addison "big girl" panties while she was here.

Of course, those are so much more fun to wear on your head!
