For me, that was yseterday. I even overslept my alarm but Kate went back to sleep so I was still able to read my Bible and exercise first thing. I did yoga for the first time since Kate was born yesterday - my backs been killing me so I figure this should help a bit - plus it feels so great while doing it!
Other things accomplished yesterday: all the laundry, towels & sheets included; vaccuming, mopping, cleaning both bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen sink, dusting, teaching two piano lessons, doing some dishes, making dinner, and taking the girls to storytime.
I'll interject here that Ray took Addison with him to his grandmothers in the afternoon leaving me with Kate. It's much easier to clean when you only have one child in the house who can only stay in one place!
During the presidential address I took the time to try to finish taking down & putting away my winter decorations (including the pretty snowflakes on my entry hall wall) & doing a bit of redecorating in the front room.
My entry table now looks like this (sorry for the poor lighting, I decorated at night & the sun still hasn't come up this morning):
What do you think? I'm not sure if I'm completely sold on how it looks. I kind of like it, I just don't know if it's quite right. My parents should be here any minute now & honestly, out of anybody, my moms opinion on my decor matters more to me than anyone elses. She just has an eye so I'll ask her to do any redecorating she deems necessary after she arrives!
