the essence

We've had such gorgeous weather here lately. The kind of weather that makes me never want to live up north but rather spend my days outside in the warm sun (or at least inside with the windows open & a nice breeze blowing through!).

This afternoon we went up to Ray's dads' for a visit; or, as Addison calls him, "Grandpa Pizza." That's what happens when you bring pizza to our house 3 weeks in a row. (And, yes, we had pizza again tonight)

After dinner we walked to their property and enjoyed the weather. It was quite windy, and grandpa & grandma had decked things out for Addison this visit - they bought her a swing, bubbles, and a kite!





Although the kite was something new for Addison she was much more enthralled with the bubbles and went through the entire container!

This is a view of the back of the house that Ray's dad has been building for the past seven years. It should be finished soon!
