It's already Wednesday, this week has completely gotten away from me (I haven't even updated my facebook status since Monday [shock!]) Monday was quite busy. I met up with a friend from camp, Merlisia, whom I hadn't seen much lately. We had such a fun time talking, drinking coffee, & shopping at the new mall.

Me & Mer

In the evening Paige came over to watch Chuck with me. We both like the show & it works out great for her to come over; Ray's at Toastmasters on Monday nights & the girls are in bed so we can still have some girl talk & junk food together!

Yesterday was the kind of day you just want to forget. (But, pictures make things better so I'll throw in a few random ones) I pumped a bottle for Kate in the morning because I've kind of lapsed in giving them to her so she dooesn't like them now. It takes over an hour to get her to take the bottle, which is exhausting for all those involved.

After Kate went down for her nap, I took Addison with me to run errands & she was a pill the entire time. We ended up having to wake her up from her afternoon nap to make it to a loooong appointment on time and I was holding her hand in the parking lot as we were leaving. Addison didn't like that so she did the toddler thing where they just set themselves down wherever they're standing so they can't move anymore.

But, I was holding her hand when she pulled down like that & subsequently heard some pops in her arm. It's not the first time it's happened (stubborn little girl), but this time she wouldn't move her arm at all in the car & kept crying that it hurt. We got home & she wouldn't move her arm & just clung to me for dear life. I checked it over & there was no swelling or bruising or anything & after what seemed like forever (and after some tylenol & arnica) she could move her arms & fingers a little, but still tried not to & basically kept her arm still.

I felt so bad & worried on top of it. It made it very difficult for me to concentrate on teaching piano or getting anything elses accomplished. Addison seemed better by bedtime & woke up hungry a few hours later & was acting like nothing had happened to her arm at all. A definite answered prayer! It was so heartbreaking for me to see her in so much pain.

I love this photo from lunch at Con & Rach's on Sunday. Addison wanted to blow bubbles with Ruth & would hold the bubble wand out for her - I think she even told her to "blow," too (she can be a tad bossy)

Onto better news, though. Ruth, Ernie & Karine are flying in from PA today!!! We haven't seen them in nearly two years & I'm anxiously awaiting this visit!
