I really haven't accomplished much of anything today other than taking care of the girls, teaching a piano lesson, making dinner (steak fajitas - the steak was one sale for less than $3!) & grabbing a little time to myself.
It's now 8:30 pm & I'm feeling better now than I have all day. It seems to have correlated with the girls going to bed...is there any possibility that's just a coincidence?
I did nab a little time to myself this afternoon. Ray had an interview type thing this morning & after he arrived home I left for Target (where else, right?). It's my one-stop-shop for pretty much everything - groceries, personal items, home decor, clothing, coffee, and socialization. I can't tell you how nice it is that so many of the employees there know me - it makes for fun conversation & some definite perks!
Paige got off of work while I was there so we sat & talked for sometime (I had to cancel our lunch yesterday because of everything else going on) so this gave us a chance to catch up.
After we chatted & before getting some diapers & groceries I perused the sale racks & found a top I'd been eyeing for awhile at 50% off. I like it & bought it but I still may return the shirt. I'm going to have to try it on again & see. I also nabbed this lampshade:
I've seen this for awhile & loved it!!! I loved it even more today when I picked it up on clearance for $4.25!!! I paid for my shirt & lampshade in giftcards from Christmas & I still have some money leftover. It definitely pays to be a bargain shopper, don't you agree?
