the essence

Today was a BIG day...for both me & Addison...

I cut her hair!

I attempted to cut it, anyway, with my rather dull scissors, inexperience, & wiggly toddler (I was seriously thinking as I cut her hair, "Oh, Renee would kill me if she saw how I was doing this!"). :) I've been toying with the idea for awhile, I was just afraid that once I cut it Addison would lose her little girl curls for good! But, the excitement of seeing her with non-ratty hair was too enticing for me.

I sat her in the Bumbo in front of the tv in hopes that would encourage stillness during the haircut (I guess it helped a little)





After getting Addison out of the Bumbo she kept wanting to stand on me & hug me

She didn't really want to be still to get a picture of the final cut



Addison very happily spoke to Maemae on the phone after her cut



Next up: our first attempt last night at sleeping the girls in the same room!
