You know what I love about Thursdays?

Thursdays are when Publix introduces their new weekly ads. It's almost like a little pick-me-up in the middle of the week. Ten years ago I probably wouldn't have believed you if you'd told me I'd look forward to browsing the ads for all of the buy-one-get-one-free deals (which abound in Publix ads).

Of course, my friends & I used to dash by our mothers to play, while they sipped coffee and talked in the kitchen, & remark "That's so boring, we'll never do that!"
