I was very happy not to start work until 2:00 today because it gave us time to stop at Joann Fabrics on the way home! I had a list going of things I needed from there and I was very happy to finally pick them up. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for but I can make these work. Addison is staying at my parents' house until Wednesday & I'm hoping to make some things while she's away. Granted, these first three days of the week are my busiest as far as work, but I'm hoping to have a little energy on my breaks to do some things (& I'm hoping it will be more doable with only one running around). I can't say what I'm making, because you never know who it's for!
Among other "pretty" things, Ray was craving chocolate cupcakes the other day. I had some leftover batter so I made some mini heart cakes. They were on the cooling rack (with a can of sprinkles next to them) & I later found one looking like this:
Addison was very excited about the decorating she had done. You've gotta love opening up all the sides of a four-color sprinkles container!

I love Jo-Ann's! I can spend hours in there. I don't, because the kid are usually ready to leave after 2 minutes, and James is ready even before that! LOL!
Do you read Chinese Jessica? Addison is such a helpful little girl, isn't she? I really do mean to get Bethany to make a video for Addison, from one non-stop talker to another. Accents are cuter in children too.
lol, Amy, I saw your comment first & wasn't sure what you meant at first about the Chinese! :) I'd love to show Addison a video of Bethany, I think we'd both enjoy it! :)
Lucas tends to dump things exactly like that ~ it's too funny! Mmm, chocolate cake. I just made a banana cake with chocolate frosting! :) Love your Joann's goodies ... fabric is definitely an obsession of mine, as is yarn! :)
