At least that's my theory, as I usually have a difficult time eating one, much less two as I did on Friday night!
Yep, it was youth group camp fire night, & it also happened to be the first night of the season that I was able to make it out to youth group. The kids learned about the prophet, Jonah, roasted hot dogs over the camp fire and made s'mores.
This is my first attempt at Nathan's "Ultimate S'more" - a graham cracker with chocolate, two marshmallows, another piece of chocolate, and another graham cracker. My graham crackers got too hot & crumbled into the fire. Almost happened with attempt #2 but I was able to rescue it in time.
A couple from church are missionaries in Brazil & they're here for a few weeks. My girls are completely enamored with the gentleman! Last night he got up to speak & Addison asked me, "can I go talk to him when this is over?" She then walked around the building afterwards holding his hand. When Kate sees him she gets excited & points. She also really likes his beard.
Along the lines of pregnancy, Rach is fast approaching her due date (although I know it's not fast enough for her! Those last few weeks can drag by, you know?) so I grabbed her last night for a belly picture. I know it would've been better without all of the background noise, but we were in a rush to leave & took what we could get.
