I think we had a pretty fun & exciting vacation. It's a shame Clay was too young to remember any of it. He did get in some good naps in those fabulous locales...

Sweet Dreams
I think we had a pretty fun & exciting vacation. It's a shame Clay was too young to remember any of it. He did get in some good naps in those fabulous locales...
He slept his way through the Blue Ridge Parkway...
(Can you get much more relaxed than that?)
dozed in DC...
slept away his time at Greenwood Hills...
and was lulled to sleep at the wineries.

Awww what a sleeper! :)
I am amazed that you can road trip with kids. I can barely make it into town. It's the screaming that gets to me. Clay must sleep in the car, does he?
Oh, he can scream QUITE well. :) But, it's not constant, especially when you consider how much driving we did. It was worst when he was hungry & we couldn't pull over right away.
He definitely didn't sleep as well in the car as he does at home, but it was still an enjoyable trip. :)
