As long as we keep having babies we'll keep having "mommy showers." Today we celebrated Briana (who's due next month on my moms' birthday!) with brunch at First watch. Delicious food, good conversation & lots of fun!
We opted out of favors this time & instead I tried to dress up the table a little. I found this super cute flannel at Joann's & I made it into a big blanket for the baby but folded it into a mini table runner for our table. I absolutely loved these flowers & opted to wrap them in ribbon instead of arranging them in the vase. I found the sequin notions at Joann's, too, & used them to dress up the vase & also to make napkin rings (unfortunately, the napkin rings ended up being WAY too big for the napkins at the restaurant).
I had scrapbook paper at home that went quite well with the flannel I found. I turned it into place cards & inked the edges of some white cardstock & glued it on as a place to write our names.
The two pregnant ladies in our group. On the right, Briana at 35 weeks & on the left Erin at...43 weeks!! She was due three weeks ago as of tomorrow & she is an example to all pregnant women. She has the best attitude about being pregnant & is doing so well! (Edited to add: 10 hours after this photo (right about the time I was writing this), Erin had her baby!!!)
After brunch Rach, Briana & I headed over to the mall. First stop was for coffee where the other girls ordered decaf while I tried to find a drink to get with the maximum amount of shots! (After seeing these photos of me I can really see how tired I was today)
We did some window shopping & then had fun in Forever 21. They have the best (cheap!) accessories! We all had to try on some of the hats.
