We went to a train-themed birthday party today for a 3 & 5-year-old. The best part was they actually had a little train for the kids to ride! Addison wasn't too keen on it but Kate loved it! She rode on it three different times. It kept raining off & on & we had to take breaks from the train. Kate didn't even care about her cake. She was standing, watching the train & jumping up & down, "Go on train! Go on train!"
I didn't get many pictures (my camera battery was dying) but the party was so cute! Each child received a train cap, there were sandwiches cut into train shapes, train shaped lollipops, & on top of each cake were little trains - made out of rice krispie treats covered in fondant! The favors were wooden train whistles wrapped in bandanas.
We saw Ray's old friend/former employer who hadn't seen Clay. The thing they all noticed & pointed out: "He's so white!" Yes, my poor son still practically glows. I think my little Casper is cute, though!
