At least is was this week!
This morning we awoke & I made us waffles for breakfast. One thing nice about making things like this yourself is that you can make them the way you like them. So, mine were chocolate chip pecan waffles. We then loaded up the van & went canoeing at the Hillsborough River
Canoeing was pretty fun. I do think next time I'm going to take Ray up on his idea of finding someone to watch Clay the next time we go. As it was, today I had to hold him the entire time (in his enormous life preserver) & balance on the front seat of the canoe. Now, I know that little rocks in the canoe won't tip us over, but, little rocks in the canoe when your balance is going into holding a baby is a different story.
The girls did great in the middle of the canoe, sticking their hands & feet in the water. Ray got stuck in the back with all of the paddling. I didn't get any pictures as I didn't want to chance taking our brand new camera out onto the river with the possibility of us going overboard (we didn't).
When we got home & the kids went down for a nap I ran some errands & had a mocha coconut frappuccino. Oh my, it was heavenly.
This evening we invited the in-laws over for our little cook-out. They weren't here very long, just enough time to enjoy some hot dogs on the grill, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob & ceasar salad.
I don't know how Clay can be so tiny, he ate an entire hot dog & really enjoyed the potato salad!

I don't know which picture is funnier, Dapper or Clay :)
Those photos of Clay are great! My Toby is tiny too and he eats like a horse. I try not to resent it.....
