We hadn't been up to see Ray's dad since Christmas so this afternoon we went for a visit. (After a delicious lunch with many of our young couple friends from church at Jesse & Ella's house!)
Ray's dad bought a saddle for one of the miniature horses last week so the kids all went for some rides this afternoon. They had a blast!
His dad is currently up to 10 miniature donkeys, 2 large horses, 2 miniature horses, plus all of their birds, dogs & cats. (maybe chickens, too!)
We also picked some fresh organic collard greens and broccoli and saw some beautiful blue robin eggs.
The two miniature horses were eating their hay & Ray thought it would be cute to set Clay on the hay & take a picture. Clay didn't think it was cute at all.
With the lovely long evenings we now have with the time change we didn't even notice how late it had become! We finally headed back to their house next door & Katherine cooked up an amazing fettuccine alfredo dinner, complete with the fresh picked broccoli!
