Easter

Yesterday morning began with Easter baskets, an egg hunt (for the Resurrection eggs) and dying a few eggs before church. Addison couldn't have been more thankful for her Easter basket. She had the biggest smile on her face & kept telling me "thank you" over & over. I kept the baskets simple, as always. They all received chocolate bunnies and a few little candies from the health food store (shhh, don't tell the kids!). Clay also received a "Cars" ball and the girls each had a pack of stickers & glitter glue pens. (thank you Target dollar spot!)

Reading the story of the resurrection using the Resurrection Eggs.

Unfortunately, this was the best photo I got of Clay in his adorable outfit. The hat just makes it, he looked so handsome!

After church we went to my parents for lunch. My parents had also agreed to let us invite over friends from church who don't have any family in town. They came with their three kids, including their adorable 4-week-old, and we had a lovely casual lunch.

We also squeezed in some family photos.

I really wanted pictures of just the kids, but, the other little boys were taking off on the Easter egg hunt & my kids didn't want to miss out! Thank you to Maemae for putting coins inside the eggs instead of candy!

Hiding behind the bushes. Perhaps the crowds were too much for Oliver?

After the hunt the kids splashed in the pool & we just relaxed with nice conversation & more food.

Sweet cousins

Thank you for hosting us, Mom & Dad!
