Fourth of July

This Fourth we stayed in town AND we didn't have to work - the first time we've been able to do that in five years!!!

We started off at my parents house in the morning, complete with puzzles, delicious food swimming and "Friends" trivia. We ended the day with Robert & Briana & their kids at the beach by St. Pete. We grilled out & watched the fireworks together. From our vantage point we could see the displays from several different cities - St. Pete, Treasure Island, Clearwater. There were also people all over the beach sending up fireworks and we even saw a floating lantern!

It was an excellent Fourth.

I thought it would be fun to move the kiddie slide over to the pool. The kids weren't too keen on it, but, I thought it was fun!

Ray made Briana & I laugh & of course that photo turned out better than the posed smiles!

The three oldest girls were cold & thought it was hilarious to huddle in one big towel.
