Lame

Two weeks. It's been over two weeks since I've blogged, I'm such a terrible blogger now!

When I worked making hotel reservations the job was so menial & mindless that I could keep a second computer open & do all kinds of extra-curricular activities, such as blogging. Now, most of my work is on the computer (requiring undivided attention) or on the phone/computer conference, also requiring my undivided attention, leaving little time for the fun "extras" on the Internet. I'm okay with that, but, I know I'll miss having records if I don't keep blogging.

On Saturday I entered week 14 of this pregnancy, better known for me as the magical trimester. I woke up Sunday morning excited about things again. I haven't felt sick all week. I've been cooking real food again. I don't feel overwhelmed by every little thing anymore. I even went rollerblading on Monday for the first time in 8 years!

This week we also took Clay for allergy testing. The first step was all of the little pricks on the back and a few needle pricks on the arm. The doctor most suspected Clay to have pollen/mold allergies. The day after all of the pricks we went back for the second visit, to look at delayed reactions. There was only one spot that Clay had that was still quite remarkable.

His biggest allergy? COCKROACHES!

The doctor said that 9 out of 10 people have a cockroach allergy, but, even he was surprised to see how great Clays' allergy is to them. We'll also delve deeper into some of the foods that popped up to see if any are true/severe allergies or not.

Oh! Allergies suck. I hope any allergies that show up are managable. My E is allergic to cashews, pistachios, almonds, peanuts and soy! It causes me such anxiety as people slip those kinds of nuts into all kinds of dishes. I have to be so careful - esp. at church.

I hope whatever allergies he has are not too troublesome and he outgrows them real soon.
