We officially started moving in today. The former owners cleaned it up real nice for us too. :) Rachel's family, the Nunley's, are in town right now because their oldest son flew in from Hawaii today for the first time in over a year (he's in the coast guard). So, we went down to the pool with some of them & then the girls & Bonnie helped us move over our first load of boxes. YEA!
Yesterday Ray & I stopped by the house for the first time since the day we closed & he opened the door & picked me up & carried me over the threshold. :) It was so cute, I'd completely forgotten about that.
I'm so ready to start painting. I really wish I could get rid of this PINK carpet ASAP & put down different flooring but it amy be awhile before we can afford that. Oh well, I know that different paint will do wonders.
We may possibly be going out to dinner with Rachel & her family tonight - Mamas pizza. If not I know Ray & I will get our usual Its-Wednesday-Night-And-I-Don't-Cook-Dinner-Pizza. :)
We're living it up with this being our last week in the apartment & living across the street from Rachel & Conrad. We were at their place Monday evening, I took dinner over there last night & we hung out, & we've spent time together today. It will definitely be a bummer not living so close anymore. Hopefully they'll still visit a lot!
