the essence

I'm finally getting a little update today, I feel I've been horrible at posting lately!

I just got back from the family doctor...the first time I've been to a dr. who wasn't a specialist since I was 10!!! That's right. And know what? I'm healthy, go figure! My main reasons for going was for bloddwork & to find out why my ear has been hurting. I'm glad I went because I have a slight ear infection that some ear drops should clear up.

I'm also going to be working at Honey Baked Ham for two weeks! How weird is that? I'm just going to answer phones for the holiday rush & its just 25 hours next week & 35 hours the week after that. Erin S. is going to be working there for the holidays too (her sister Ruth is already an employee there) & she knew I don't have a regular job right now so she thought I might like a little extra money.

So, that's the latest scoop. Ernie, RUth, Rach, Con, Ray & I met at Lee Roy Selmon's last night for a surprise birthday dinner for Ruth & then we went to Starbucks. ERnie & Ruth stayed at our place last night & we were up until around 1:30 talking. I'm pretty tired now.

Tonight is Ray's offfice party. I think I'm going to wear my Ann Taylor Loft dress for the first time. It's adorable! I'm also going to wear it to Geannie's wedding next Saturday & Dave & Ashley's engagement party that evening. This will be the first opportunity for me to wear it - the chance doesn't come often!
