the essence

Yesterday was very busy with a fun trip to Orlando. I was severely sleep deprived, going on about 4 hours, but Rith had arrived in town Monday, stayed the night with me & Rach was riding over with us to visit my family in Orlando.

Even though we left before 6:30, I had to stop at Walmart to get oil to put in my car, stop for gas, & get stuck in some traffic so we didn't arrive until around 9:00. It was so low-key yesterday, we didn't really do a lot but it was still fun just hanging out. We did go to Target & found some shoes for Rachel to wear to her sister-in-laws wedding next week, we stopped at a Thai Place & Tijuana Flats to get lunch (SO good - I love Tex Mex!) & Rach & I both go haircuts!

I haven't had hair this short in a while! I'm loving it, my long hair was driving me crazy. I also have bangs again for the firt time since I was probably around 13 years old! I'd post pictures but we're having difficulty getting them transferred from the camera to the laptop.

We also watched How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days along with some clips from Megans' trip to the Virgin Islands. That DVD is probably funnier than any movie I've ever seen! I was dying laughing & watched one clip three times. :)

We also made a required trip to Starbucks & took lots of silly pictures while there. We also got to see Renee & my grandmother while in Orlando.

I've been wanting a kitchen aid for ages & I can't believe she gave one to me!!! It was such a great gift. :)
