the essence

Oh my word its in the 40's outside, which is super cold for down here! That's would explain the 63 degree temperature in the house. I'm trying to stay warm but I haven't been too succeddful yet.

We got a little bit of painting done yesterday, but I spent a lot of time preppring (it took about an hour just to wipe down the walls - the arches lose some of their appeal when you have to work with them!). Most of the blue tape is up too & Ray painted a bit while I was prepping & stuff.

I also have some Christmas lights up outside but in my opinion they're a little sorry looking right now. I think I might buy some more lights when I go out this morning.

The downside to going out is how cold it is! The upside is the nice hot coffee I have to look forward to. :)
