The weekend was lovely, very lovely. We arrived in Orlando around 7:30 Saturday evening. We all stayed in for the night, with the exception of me & Megan running through the drive-thru at Wendy's for an exceptionally fatty dinner.
Sunday morning we all attempted to go to church but it stank to the high heavens with perfumes & left me with a headache & tight chest. So, Ray, Addison, my dad & mom, & Megan & Matthew, & I all went to Starbucks. It was so nice getting to hang out together & chat for awhile. We did go back to the fellowship time at church so I was able to see everybody but then I skipped the second meeting so that Addison could get a nap in before the bridal shower at 1:00.
The shower was really nice - delicious food served on real china & beverages in pretty glasses. There were also minimal games (which I always like) lots of presents for Katie to open. One thing that I really enjoyed about the shower is that the people who were there were the "old" crowd. The people from church who I've known since I was four-years-old. That made it very comfortable.
During the shower Ray hung out with Nick upstairs so he was able to get in a lot of guy time. After the shower my mom & I hung around for awhile & then I went with Heather & Katie to Starbucks again just so we could hang out & talk like old times. Megan wasn't able to make it because she had a bridal show to go to (she's getting married in less than two months!!!).
Ray & I finally made it back to my parents & hung out some more & ate dinner before heading home.
