the essence

We;ve just been so busy lately! We had a full house for lunch on Sunday. It was out turn to have the speaker at church over for lunch so we also invited Conrad & Rachel. Rach is very allergic to cats but thankfully, I'm superb at cleaning so I worked very hard to make sure her allergies wouldn't bother her here.I think it worked, too! My parents were also here for lunch as my dad had some business in our area on Sunday.

This of course resulited in mine & my mom's traditional trip to Target. I love window shopping & I think Target must do something to keep enticing vulnerable people (such as myself) to return day after day in search for everything they don't need.

Yesterday, my friend Sarah arrived with her two kids from the D.C. area. They'll be staying us until tomorrow & then making the arounds. Today, we've enjoyed breakfast from McDonalds, storytime at the library (where we ran into Jen & her girls), a Target trip (what did I tell you?), and watching season 2 of The Office.
