Go vote, get free food!
Okay, so that's not the reason to vote, but here are some freebie deals going on during election day (although not necessary everywhere, make sure to save your "I voted" sticker just in case!):
1. Starbucks is giving away a free tall coffee to anyone who asks for one (turns out it violates election law to only give away to those who say they voted)
2. A free scoop of Ben & Jerry's between 5-8 pm
3. A free patriotic donut from Krispy Kreme
4. At participating locations (call first) a free Chickfila Chicken Sandwich when you present proof that you voted
5. And, I believe this is my favorite so far, a 3 piece chicken meal with fries & a 20 oz. drink from Shane's Rib Shack! This was previously only for those who voted, but it's now for the first 300 guests.
