The Butterfly & The Ballerina

No creativity this year, I just didn't have time or energy! Enter the dollar tree & their one dollar "fairy" skirts & wings so Addison was very happy to proclaim herself a butterfly! She also insisted on the red. I tried to get her to pick one of the prettier colors but the girl knows what she wants & she liked the red.

Kate's "ballerina" costume was just a dress-up skirt that was a gift from a friend that I threw on over tights. It worked. Kate also did an excellent job collecting chocolate for mommy & daddy on her first trick-or-treating expedition. :)

We met up with Rays' moms' side of the family & Addison had fun with her cousins - Isabella was so cute as Minnie Mouse!

I love how some of the people in this neighborhood set-up: a few of the nieghbors get together at one house & they all hang out in the driveway with all of their bowls of candy on the table for you!

All of the cousins, aka the ninja, GI Joe, Minnie Mouse, Butterfly & Ballerina.

I so wish I could have captured Addison's face when we got home & dumped the candy onto the floor. She opened her mouth real wide & gasped & threw her arms into the air. Her favorites are the little dumdums.

Fine with me, I eat the chocolate!

Addison has the biggest, cheekiest smile and I love it!!! Glad she had a great Halloween and for the record, Aunt Kim likes red too!

So cute! Don't you love when people give candy to the tiny kids who can't eat it. Everyone gave candy to Isaac which was completely fine with me! I've enjoyed it :)
