Mock Trial

This past Friday and Monday our Challenge B (equivalent to eighth graders) had their mock trials. This is when they've studied up on cases & they go against another Classical Conversations Challenge B group in front of a judge & jury to try the case. First, one group prosecutes while the other defends & a verdict is made. Then, the groups try the same case but, switch their roles. Challenge B Tampa won all 4 times!!! I'm so proud!

I love the experience the kids get with this. On Friday they were at Stetson Law for their "trial" & they had an actual judge acting as the judge for their case!

(Here's a little blurb about the mock trial notebook & proceedings.)

Thank you for sharing the information.

Mock trials are an important part of any court. This trial is helping a lot in presenting the case and the opposition’s case, including facts, theories, witnesses etc.

While researching on the topic of mock trial, I came across a good website named as focuslitigation.com that provides the service of litigation consulting, mock trials, online jury research and so on.
