Crunch Time

I'm 37 weeks today - officially full-term!

I have almost all of my birth supplies ready. In the past I had it packed all neat in a wicker basket. This time it's all shoved in plastic grocery bags under a bathroom sink. I also forgot to buy diapers!

Next week (t-minus 4 days) is the beginning of our Classical Conversations Parent Practicum. As organizer, I'm trying to keep up with last minute prep & any fires that need to be put out come through me. Perhaps my expectations were that there would be more issues in the days ahead but so far it's not too bad. I spent about 5-6 hours working on it yesterday, mostly just because I took the two days prior almost completely off.

Ray is working this weekend because it's busy season for the budget department. Right now I'm trying to get my final supply list ready for our next CC school year - we'll be doing more cool things like setting off model rockets and creating constellations. I'm trying to breakdown everything I need for 65 students, how much can be shared & then finding the best prices. I already finished sorting & mostly stocked my tutor supply bins back in April so that I wouldn't have to worry about it now.

Something else I'd like to get done before the baby comes is to order our own personal curriculum for the next year & begin lesson planning. I've been getting rooms organized in order to make things more manageable. I love having an organized & clean home - it makes me much more productive, calm & happy!

I supposed I should also get the baby clothes down from the attic, along with the infant car seat & bouncy chair so that everything will be washed & ready for his arrival!
